This policy covers southsudgicpictures.com (including the FiCHUA quiz) and fichuafilm.com.
In short
- The FiCHUA quiz collects nothing. Your answers and your card stay on your device.
- If you join the FiCHUA priority list, we use your details only to send you the premiere ticket link, and we delete them by 30 November 2027.
- If you use the contact form, we use your details only to reply to you.
- We never sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
1. Who we are
South Sudgic Pictures (SSP) is an independent film production collective, and FiCHUA is its film. WONA Films Limited builds and runs these websites for SSP and FiCHUA, and is responsible for the personal information collected through them (the “data controller”).

Your information stays where you send it: in the FiCHUA sign-up form, the FiCHUA and SSP email inboxes, and the FiCHUA Instagram account. It is not copied into any WONA Films system or database, and WONA Films keeps no separate copy. WONA Films’ role is to run the websites and handle these accounts on behalf of SSP and FiCHUA.

The priority list gets one message only: the premiere ticket link. We will not send newsletters or marketing, and we will not contact you about anything else.
Our legal basis is your consent for the priority list: you choose to sign up or send NIKO, and you can withdraw at any time. Gender and age are optional. Because gender is sensitive personal data under Kenya’s Data Protection Act 2019, we only collect it with your explicit consent. For the contact form, our basis is your request to hear back from us. For website logs, it is our legitimate interest in running safe, working websites.
3. Anonymous totals, and when we delete your data
We delete the whole priority list by 30 November 2027, one year after FiCHUA’s November 2026 release. That includes every form entry, every NIKO email and every NIKO Instagram message.
Before deleting it, we count anonymous totals: how many people signed up, and how many fall into each age group, gender and cinema. These totals contain no names or contact details and cannot identify you. SSP and WONA Films use them to plan the cinema rollout, and may keep them for reports and articles about FiCHUA. We never publish a group smaller than 10 people, so no total can point to one person.
We do not reuse the list. Future SSP films will start a new list from scratch, and we will not contact you about other projects.
Contact-form messages are used only to reply to you, and are deleted by 30 November 2027 as well.
4. Services that handle data for us
We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we never use it for advertising. A few services handle it only to run the websites and inboxes:

5. Data stored outside Kenya
Some of these services store data outside Kenya, mainly in the United States and the European Union. We only use providers that protect personal data with recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Because gender is sensitive personal data, by giving it on the sign-up form you also consent to it being stored by our form provider outside Kenya.
6. Keeping it safe
Only the few people at SSP and WONA Films who send out the ticket link or answer messages can see your details. Every account that holds them is protected with a strong password and two-step verification.
7. Age
The priority list is for people aged 16 or older, matching the film’s 16+ rating. If we learn that someone under 16 has signed up, we delete their details.
8. Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act 2019, and the EU and UK GDPR if you live there, you can:
- ask what information we hold about you and get a copy
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it, at any time, including leaving the priority list early
- withdraw your consent, for example by replying STOP to the ticket-link message
- object to how we use it
Email info@fichuafilm.com and we will reply promptly, within the time limits the law sets. You can also complain to Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke) or, if you live in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
southsudgicpictures.com uses no advertising or tracking cookies; its visit counts are anonymous and cookie-free. fichuafilm.com is built on Wix, which sets essential cookies (such as XSRF-TOKEN and svSession) needed to keep the site secure and working. They don’t track you for advertising. If we ever add optional cookies, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
